Gary Jones: Azerbaijan ensured energy security of entire region and Europe

Thanks to the development of oil and gas fields in the last 30 years, Azerbaijan has ensured the energy security of the entire region and Europe, said Gary Jones, Regional President of BP for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, at the opening ceremony of the 18th Baku Summer Energy School, Report informs.

“This required significant technical resources. The Southern Gas Corridor, which is more than 3,500 kilometers long, meets Europe's need for natural gas,” Jones said.

Speaking about the Baku Energy School, BP regional president expressed confidence that talented students completing the training will contribute to the energy transition.
