EU achieves good results in green energy

The European Union (EU) received more electricity from renewable energy sources than from gas for the first time last year, European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen said at a press conference, Report informs.

Ursula von der Leyen said the EU "doubled additional exploration" of renewable energy generation capacity last year.

"For the first time, we produced more electricity from renewable energy than from gas," she said.
