Ambassador: Netherlands to study opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan in energy and logistics

A visit of the envoy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for Connectivity Bernhard Kelkes and the Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership Rein Dekkers to Azerbaijan is expected during the Baku Energy Week and the TransLogistica Caspian exhibition, the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan Pauline Eizema told Report.

According to her, Dutch companies are also planning to participate in the exhibitions: "The delegation will also include a coordination specialist, and we intend to explore opportunities for cooperation in this area. Azerbaijan is of strategic importance as it is located in the center of the Middle Corridor. Western countries understand the importance of Azerbaijan on this route."

Eizema noted that an extensive and interesting program will be prepared as part of the visit to get better acquainted with the country, study the economic potential and business opportunities, as well as assess the prospects for cooperation for Dutch companies.

The 30th anniversary Baku Energy Week and the 22nd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Exhibition will be held at the Baku Expo Center on June 2-4.
