EIA lowers oil production forecast for Azerbaijan in 2025

Average daily oil production in Azerbaijan in 2025 is forecast at 650,000 barrels, Report informs referring to the August issue of the Short-Term Energy Outlook of the Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the US Department of Energy.

The forecast for oil production for next year is 10,000 barrels or 1.5% lower than the agency’s July forecast.

It is expected that in the first quarter of next year, average daily oil production in the country will be 630,000 barrels, which is 10,000 barrels or 1.6% lower than the July forecast.

In the second quarter of 2025, daily oil production in Azerbaijan will be 650,000 barrels, which is in line with the agency’s forecast made in July.

The agency also forecasts that average daily oil production in Azerbaijan in the third and fourth quarters of 2025 will be 670,000 barrels, which coincides with the EIA's July forecasts for the same periods.
