EBRD, European Commission exploring financial support to SGC expansion

The European Commission is now exploring with the EBRD the possibility of providing financial support to facilitate the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC), European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said in an interview with Report.

"We aim to increase its capacity to 20 billion cubic meters annually as of 2027. On top of our political support, we are now also exploring with the EBRD the possibility of providing financial support to facilitate its expansion," she said.
