Azerbaijani, Saudi companies ink energy deal

Today, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Energy, Azerenergy OJSC, and ACWA Power of Saudi Arabia.
Report informs, the documents were signed by Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov, President of Azerenergy Baba Rzayev, and ACWA Power CEO Mohammad Abunayyan.
The agreement includes an investment deal for a 240 MW wind farm project, an energy purchase and sale contract, and an agreement on connection to the transmission network.
