bp will receive first electricity from its renewable energy plant in Azerbaijan in October, Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov said at the opening ceremony of the 17th Baku Summer Energy School, Report informs.

According to him, bp has an important role in the energy sector of Azerbaijan and the company taking serious steps in the field of renewable energy.

He also noted that Azerbaijan has taken the main steps necessary for energy transit.
