Damage from oil spill at Angara in Irkutsk assessed

The damage from the oil spill at the Angara in Irkutsk was previously estimated at more than 8 million rubles (over $132,000), Report informs via Russian media.
The auxiliary boat, Yaroslavets, caught fire in the Ershov Bay in October after the workers did not notice the leak during the work. As a result, diesel oil spilled over the river bay, the concentration of hazardous substances in the river was exceeded. About 300 tons of oil products leaked into the river as a result.
