Cost price of gas produced by SOCAR up

In 2023, the cost price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas produced by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to 76.03 manats ($44.72), according to SOCAR's annual report on its activities in 2023, Report informs.

According to the document, this is 8.46 manats ($4.97) or 12.5% more compared to the indicators of 2022.

Taking into account the costs of gas production, purchase from Azercontract OJSC and import, as well as the costs of gas processing, storage, transportation and distribution, the actual cost of 1000 cubic meters of gas sold by SOCAR in 2023 amounted to 178.67 manats ($105.1).
