Commercial propylene production in Azerbaijan increases by 23%

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan produced 40,000 tons of propylene, 42,200 tons of polyethylene and 41,400 tons of ethylene.

According to the State Statistics Committee, marketable products were responsible for 37,500 tons of the 3-month propylene production.

During the reporting period, propylene production increased by 22.3% and commercial propylene production by 23%.

In addition, over the past year, the production of ethylene and polyethylene decreased by 2.1% and increased by 0.2%, respectively.
