Azerbaijan has huge potential in renewable energy, Executive Director of the German company Energy Storage System Association (BVES) Urban Windelen told Report.
Azerbaijan is still at an early stage of the energy transition, but the country has a very large potential for renewable energy: water, wind, solar and others, he said.
He added that the German-Azerbaijani Sustainability Forum "Renewable Energy in Azerbaijan" held on June 21 in Baku is a great opportunity to hold meetings and necessary discussions.
“We are starting discussions with some companies, and perhaps this is the starting point for cooperation,” he said.
