BTC oil transportation through Turkey declines by about 3%

In February 2022, 15.063 million barrels of oil were transported through Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, up 526,000 barrels or 3.62% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Turkish pipeline operator BOTAS.
In January-February 2022, the BTC pipeline pumped 32.562 million barrels of oil through Turkey, a drop of 942,000 barrels or 2.8% from the first two months of 2021.
The BTC pipeline mainly carries oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields and condensate from Shah Deniz. Moreover, other crude oil and condensate volumes, including oil from Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan, are transported through the BTC.
