Brent rises to $66.5 per barrel

Oil prices continued to rise on the morning of September 9 amid growing fears of a global supply shortage if new sanctions are imposed on Russia, Report informs via Interfax.
As of 09:16 Baku time (GMT+4), November futures for Brent crude on the London ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.48 (0.73%) to $66.50 per barrel. On Monday, the contract had increased by $0.52 (0.79%) to $66.02 per barrel.
October futures for WTI crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.44 (0.71%) to $62.70 per barrel in electronic trading. In the previous session, these contracts had gained $0.39 (0.63%) to $62.26 per barrel.
