Oil prices rose following new statements from US President Donald Trump on the situation in the Middle East, Report informs.
July Brent crude futures on London's ICE Futures exchange rose 1.24% to $107.03 per barrel.
WTI crude futures for June in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose 1.4% to $102.59 per barrel.
Yesterday, in an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that he is losing patience with Iran, noting that the Iranian side should reach a deal.
He also said that China, which receives a significant share of its oil imports from Iran, is willing to consider purchasing oil from the US.
