BP: Work is underway to decarbonize Sangachal terminal

BP is working towards the decarbonization of the Sangachal terminal, Katerina Papalexandri, vice president gas and low carbon energy growth, Caspian gas growth at BP, said at plenary discussions on "Gas dialogue: The role of gas supply during the energy crisis" on the 2nd day of the Baku Energy Forum, Report informs.
According to her, BP is ready to start the implementation of the solar energy project, and this is one of the factors that will contribute to decarbonization.
The BP vice president noted that currently, the daily output from the Shah Deniz field is 79.5 million cubic meters of natural gas.
