bp vice president visits Azerbaijan

Gordon Birrell, bp's Executive Vice President for Production and Operations, is on a visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing bp Azerbaijan.

According to bp, this is one of Birrel's regular visits to Baku and is a pre-planned business trip.

Gordon Birrell's visit program includes meetings with bp's regional management and discussions on the progress of the company's business in the region, the current status of the energy projects it is implementing, and future plans.

During the visit, Birrell also visited the office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and met with the SOCAR leadership.
