Baku may host Investment Forum on renewable energy

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Francesco La Camera, the Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The meeting discussed the creation of renewable energy powers and regional "green energy corridors," the development of "green energy" technologies, the current state and prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and IRENA, cooperation within COP29, which will be hosted by Azerbaijan, the holding of the Investment Forum in Baku, IRENA's Renewable Energy Roadmaps initiative for Eastern Partnership countries, participation in the 14th session of the IRENA Assembly to be held in Abu Dhabi in April this year, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
