Azerbaijani population increase fuel costs by over 7%

In January-August 2022, the Azerbaijani population spent 1,749.8 million manats (over $1 billion) on gasoline and diesel fuels, up 7.3% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, consumers spent 30,874.5 million manats ($18.16 billion) in the retail trade network, including 17,426 million manats ($10.25 billion) on food products, beverages, and tobacco products and 13,448.5 million manats ($7.91 billion) on non-food goods.
