Azerbaijan, US mull Southern Gas Corridor expansion

Azerbaijan and the United States have discussed the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC), Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on X, Report informs.
“On the eve of the meeting of the SGC Advisory Council, we met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US Bureau of Energy Resources Kimberly Harrington and discussed the development of ties between the two countries in the energy sector, the expansion of the SGC, the implementation of green energy projects, as well as issues of cooperation within the framework of COP29,” he said in the post.
