Azerbaijan triples polyethylene sales to Russia

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan exported 97,341 tons of polyethylene worth $100.4 million.

According to Report’s calculations based on State Statistics Committee data, this is 20% more than the same period in 2022 in value terms and 60% in quantitative terms.

Azerbaijan sold 41,569 tons (+3 times) worth $54.4 million (2.3 times more than a year earlier) to Russia, 28,660 tons (+29%) worth $23.59 million (-21%) to Türkiye, 22,365 tons (+51%) worth $17.66 million (+4.9%) to China.
