Azerbaijan to double swap gas supplies from Turkmenistan

Azerbaijan has agreed to increase the annual volume of swap supplies of Turkmen gas through Iran from the current 2 billion cubic meters to 4 billion cubic meters, Report informs.
Last week, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Ovji met with Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov to sign a memorandum of understanding.
Last year, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan signed an agreement on the swap supply of 1.5-2 billion cubic meters of Turkmen gas to Azerbaijan annually.
