Azerbaijan slightly reduces polyethylene, ethylene output

From January through April this year, Azerbaijan produced 45,200 tons of propylene, 52,400 tons of polyethylene and 52,700 tons of ethylene, Report informs referring to the State Statistical Committee.

In the production of propylene, commodity products made 42,100 tons.

During the reporting period, propylene production grew by 0.9 percent, while commercial propylene production fell 3.7 percent.

From January through April this year, the production of ethylene and polyethylene in Azerbaijan decreased by 8.7 percent and 8.4 percent, respectively.
