Azerbaijan slightly increases methanol exports

In January–November 2023, Azerbaijan exported 450,058.72 tons of methanol (methyl alcohol) worth $81,409,640, respectively, down 0.39% and 32.57% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
During the first 11 months of this year, the share of methanol in non-oil exports was 2.68%, and the share of methanol in primary forms in the total exports of the country made up 0.26%.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth $47.326 billion. Export operations amounted to $31.513 billion, while import operations made up $15.813 billion.
