Azerbaijan shares data on oil production along with condensate

Azerbaijan produced a total of 9.6 million tons of oil (including condensate) in the first four months of 2024, which is a decrease of 0.6 million tons or 5.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.

In January-April 2024, Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field produced 5.5 million tons of oil for the reporting period, representing a decline of 0.7 million tons or 11.3 percent from the corresponding period of 2023.

Meanwhile, Shah Deniz field produced 1.4 million tons of condensate in the specified period, which is 0.1 million tons or 6.67 percent less than the indicator of 2023. Also, 0.2 million tons (condensate) accounted for Absheron field.

During the first 4 months of 2024, the production of oil (including condensate) by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) amounted to 2.5 million tons, which is the same level compared to the same period of last year.
