Azerbaijan sees rise in monthly electricity production

In January-June 2024, over 13.557 billion kWh of electricity was produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the country’s Energy Ministry.
According to the ministry, this figure is 350.50 million kWh or 2.52% less than the same period in 2023.
In June 2024, the country produced 2.326 billion kWh of electricity, which is 304.6 million kWh or 15.1% more year-on-year.
In January-June 2023, the electricity production in Azerbaijan was 13.9 billion kWh, and in June 2023 it was 2.021 billion kWh.
