Azerbaijan's RON-98 gasoline imports from main supply market decrease sharply

From January through May 2022, Azerbaijan imported 508.92 tons of RON-98 automobile gasoline for $557,230, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, RON-98 gasoline imports of Azerbaijan dwindled 42.5% in value and 2.4 times less in quantity compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 267.29 tons (3.7 times less than a year ago) of RON-98 from Romania for $292,620 (2.6 times less), and 241.63 tons (+2.1%) from Belarus for $264,600 (+35.2%).
Last year, 49.4% of the 2,684 tons of RON-98 gasoline imported by Azerbaijan came from Romania, 38% from Lithuania, 8.8% from Belarus, and 3.8% from Greece.
