Azerbaijan’s revenues from operation of main oil pipelines in 2023 revealed

Azerbaijan’s revenues from the operation of main oil pipelines, including Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), in 2023 amounted to 1.101 billion manats ($648.1 million at the current exchange rate), Report informs referring to data from the State Statistics Committee.
Compared to 2022, these revenues decreased by 11.1%.
According to statistical data, in 2023, losses in the network of main oil pipelines amounted to 3,800 tons compared to 2,900 tons in 2022, which is an increase of 31%.
In general, 39.753 million tons of oil were transported through main oil pipelines in 2023, which is 5.2% more than in 2022. At the same time, about 75.9% of the total volume of pumping was transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
