Azerbaijan's propylene, polyethylene production up in 2020

In 2020, Azerbaijan produced 103,300 tons of propylene, 132,300 tons of polyethylene, and 102,100 tons of ethylene.

Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee that commercial production made 97,500 tons of propylene.

During the reporting period, propylene production increased by 17.3%, while commercial propylene and polyethylene production grew 11.3% and 38.5%, respectively.

Meanwhile, ethylene production declined by 12.9%.
