Azerbaijan’s oil exports to Greece down 24%

In January-May 2024, Azerbaijan exported 228,237.47 tons of crude oil worth $144.8 million to Greece, decreasing by 23.9% in volume and 23.8% in value from the corresponding period of 2023, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The share of crude oil exported to Israel in the total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 2.31%.

Overall, Azerbaijan exported 9,869,672.49 tons of crude oil and crude oil products obtained from bituminous rocks worth $6,258,631,310 in the first five months of this year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with foreign countries worth over $18.439 billion.

Export operations accounted for over $11.138 billion, and imports for $7.3 billion. Over the past year, exports decreased by 30.9%, while imports increased by 6.75%.
