Azerbaijan’s electricity imports diminished in June

In January-June 2024, Azerbaijan’s electricity exports amounted to 444 million kWh, 821.2 million kWh or 2.85-fold less YoY, Report informs citing, the country's Energy Ministry.
In the first six months of 2024, Azerbaijan’s electricity imports amounted to 96.4 million kWh, 41.1 million kWh, or 29.9% less YoY.
In June alone, Azerbaijan’s electricity exports increased by 5.5 million kWh or, 47.4% to 17.1 million kWh.
Electricity imports amounted to 15.6 million kWh, 71.6 million kWh or 5.6-fold less than in June 2023.
