Azerbaijan's declared gas imports exceed 454 mcm in January-July

In January-July 2024, the declared gas import to Azerbaijan exceeded 454.33 million cubic meters, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure is 3.5 times less compared to the same period of 2023.
The value of gas imported to Azerbaijan decreased by 3.6 times during the period, amounting to $73.109 million.
During the reporting period, over 312.68 million cubic meters of gas worth $46.902 million were supplied from Turkmenistan. Compared to the same period in 2023, the supply volume decreased 2.5 times both in terms of quantity and value.
In January-July 2024, over 141.64 million cubic meters of gas worth $26.206 million were imported from Russia. This is 5.7 times less in quantitative terms and 5.5 times less in terms of value compared to the same period in 2023.
In 2023, the declared gas imports to Azerbaijan exceeded 2.332 billion cubic meters and were worth $361.99 million.
