Azerbaijan's Azerigaz unveils volumes of gas losses

In January-July this year, the volume of gas losses in the distribution network of Azerigaz Production Association in Azerbaijan amounted to 8%, said Rashad Javadov, deputy director-general for sales of Azerigaz Production Association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Report informs.

He noted that compared to the same period last year, this is 84 million cubic meters or 2.5% less.

He added that losses in July alone amounted to 4.5%: "Compared to the same period last year, this is by 0.8%, and in volumes by 1.7 million cubic meters less."
