Azerbaijan’s aviation fuel exports to Hungary soar

In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan exported 33,573 tons of aviation fuel worth $35.6 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
This is 20% less than in the same period of 2023 in terms of value and 10% less in quantitative terms.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 17,431 tons (+14%) of fuel worth $15.75 million (+12%) to Luxembourg, 4,941 tons (+22%) worth $6.3 million (+25%) to Russia, 3,129 (-57%) for $3.9 million (-40%) tons to Türkiye, 2,230 (+4.4 times) for $2.8 million (+4.4) tons to Hungary, and 1,107 tons (-83%) for $859,000 (-82%) to Georgia.
Luxembourg received 37.4% of the 108,740 tons of aviation fuel exported from Azerbaijan to 74 countries last year, while Georgia got 17%.
