Azerbaijan restores supply of aviation fuel to Libya and Morocco

Azerbaijan exported 98,000 tons of aviation fuel worth $97.7 million in January–October 2023, down 9% and 17%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, the country exported 35,682 tons (-43%) of aviation fuel worth $31.5 million (-52%) to Luxembourg, 12,528 tons (+10%) worth $15.6 million (+12%) to Russia, 18,052 tons (+7 times) worth $13.51 million (+6.6 times) to Georgia, 12,672 tons (+28%) worth $13.1 million (+10%) to Türkiye, and 3,671 tons (-31%) worth $4.6 million (-31%) to the United Arab Emirates.

Azerbaijan restored the exports to Morocco (5.44 tons worth $7,100) after 4 years and 2 months and to Libya (1.5 tons worth $2,000) after 2 years and 6 months.

Luxembourg accounted for 58% of the 126,000 tons of aviation fuel exported from Azerbaijan to 74 countries.
