Azerbaijan remains Georgia's second largest fuel and lubricant supplier

Georgia imported fuel and lubricants worth $163 million from Azerbaijan in the first five months of 2024, representing a 15% drop year-on-year, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Despite the decline, Azerbaijan has maintained its position as the second largest supplier of fuel and lubricants to Georgia.
In the specified period, the value of Georgia's total imports of fuel and lubricants from abroad stood at $768.3 million, marking a 9% increase from the previous year.
Among other major suppliers, Georgia imported fuel and lubricants worth $334 million from Russia, $69 million from Bulgaria, $53 million from Romania, and $30 million from Greece in January-May of this year.
