Azerbaijan reduces oil refining by over 18%

From January through June 2022, oil refining in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.7 million tons, Report informs, citing the country's Energy Ministry.
According to the ministry, oil refining decreased by 600,000 tons or 18.2% compared to the same period last year.
SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev Refinery, as the only oil refining enterprise in the region, not only supplies fuel products such as RON-92, diesel and jet fuel, but also supplies SOCAR's petrochemical enterprises in Azerbaijan with raw materials.
