Azerbaijan quadruples electricity exports

Azerbaijan’s Azerenegy OJSC exported 2.829 billion kWh of electricity worth $314.46 million in January-July 2023, respectively, up 4.1 times and 8.9 times from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

The electricity exports during the reporting period made up 1.51% of Azerbaijan’s total exports, 15.67% of non-oil exports.
