Azerbaijan posts over 12% increase in electricity generation

In January-July of this year, electricity production in Azerbaijan amounted to 16,269 million kWh, which is 54.40 million kWh, or 0.34% less than in the same period of 2023, according to Report, which cites the operational data of the Ministry of Energy for January-July 2024.

In July of this year, electricity production in the country amounted to 2,711.2 million kWh, which is 295.7 million kWh or 12.3% more than a year earlier.
