Azerbaijan posts 5% growth in Q1 marketable gas production

Azerbaijan produced 12,573,000,000 cubic meters of natural gas in the first quarter of 2024, up 3.4% compared to a year earlier, Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee.

Marketable gas made up 9,682,000,000 cubic meters, up 5.4% from the previous year.

The country produced 7,261,400 tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, in the reporting period, down 6% from a year earlier.

Of this, 7,244,400 tons were marketable oil, down 6% from the previous year.
