Azerbaijan posts 21% decline in revenue from polypropylene export

From January through June of this year, Azerbaijan exported 27,159,950 tons of polypropylene in primary forms.
Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee that the cost of polypropylene in this volume amounted to $40,984,040.
This is 32.2% and 21.1% less than last year, respectively.
From January through June of this year, the share of polypropylene in the export of the non-oil sector amounted to 2.81%. During the reporting period, the share of polypropylene in the country's total exports in primary forms amounted to 0.22%.
Over the past six months, exports accounted for $18.479 billion of the foreign trade turnover, and imports made $6.357 billion. Over the past year, exports grew 2.1 times, and imports rose by 17.9%.
