Azerbaijan makes an important contribution to Europe’s energy security, former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta told Report.
“Given the situation right now [during the IX Global Baku Forum], we just heard discussion regarding Ukraine and the consequences of the invasion of Ukraine. Oil and gas supplied by Azerbaijan are extremely important and will remain so. It was interesting that President Aliyev was talking this morning not just about oil and gas but about hydrogen, about solar and wind and the potential there,” Cekuta added.
