Azerbaijan increases oil sales to Indonesia by over 25%

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan exported 277,046.95 tons of crude oil worth $161.65 million to Indonesia, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The volume of the oil exported from Azerbaijan to Indonesia increased by 25.32% and the value by 7.62% compared to the same period in 2023.
Exports to Indonesia accounted for 1.58% of Azerbaijan's total oil exports.
During the reporting period, according to customs declarations, Azerbaijan exported 17.61 million tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks, worth $11.1 billion.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $34.5 billion with foreign countries. Nearly $19.86 billion of the trade turnover accounted for exports, while over 14.64 billion accounted for imports. Over the past year, exports decreased by 25% while imports increased by 16%.
