Azerbaijan increases gas production by over 14%

In January-April this year, Azerbaijan produced 15.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Report informs referring to the operational data of the Ministry of Energy for January-April.
Compared to the corresponding period last year, gas production increased by 14.4%, or almost 2 billion cubic meters.
Some 4.6 billion cubic meters of gas was produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields, 8.5 billion cubic meters - at Shah Deniz, and 2.6 billion cubic meters - by SOCAR.
