Azerbaijan increases gas imports from Turkmenistan 2.3 times

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan imported 795.520 million cubic meters of natural gas from Turkmenistan, Report informs referring to the State Committee on Statistics.

The value of this volume of imports amounted to $118.684 million.

In quantitative terms, this is 443.323 million cubic meters, or 2.26 times more than in seven months of 2022. In total, this is $78.494 million or 2.95 times more compared to the same year.

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan imported 1.61 billion cubic meters of natural gas for $418.288 million. This is $219.753 million (6.14 times) and 1.192 billion cubic meters (3.85 times) more, respectively, than for the same period in 2022.
