Azerbaijan gets growth in production of diesel and gasoline fuels 

From January through September 2021, Azerbaijan produced oil products worth AZN 3.282 billion, up 17.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 915,200 tons of gasoline, 1,883,100 tons of diesel fuel, 39,500 tons of lubricants, 275,400 tons of petroleum bitumen.

Over the past year, gasoline production increased by 7.4%, diesel fuel production - by 22.1%, lubricating oil production – by 63.9%, and petroleum bitumen production - by 9.3%.

Besides, 311,200 tons of gasoline for the petrochemical industry, 377,500 tons of kerosene, 32,400 tons of fuel oil, and 198,300 tons of petroleum coke were produced in the country during the first nine months of 2021.

Production of gasoline for the petrochemical industry rose by 92.2%, petroleum coke increased by 34.3%, kerosene surged 5.8%, while fuel oil production went down by 23.6%.
