Azerbaijan exports 9.4 bcm of gas in 2022 

In January-May 2022, Azerbaijan exported 9.4 billion cubic meters of gas, up 15.3% from a year earlier, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on Twitter, Report informs.

According to the minister, the total production in the reporting period was $19.6 billion cubic meters.

The minister added that gas exports in the first five months of 2022 were 27% higher than the previous year. Of this volume, 48% was exported to Europe, 38% to Turkiye, and 14% to Georgia.

“Total oil production was 13.9 million tons during the reporting period. Of this, 11.4 million tons were exported,” the minister tweeted.
