Azerbaijan exported over 12 bcm of gas in 1H2025

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 25.2 bcm of natural gas, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy's data.
Some 6.6 bcm of this came from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields, 13.8 bcm from the Shah Deniz field, 0.8 bcm from the Absheron field, and nearly 4 bcm from the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
During this period, gas sales abroad amounted to 12.1 bcm. Of this, 6.1 bcm were sold to Europe, 4.9 bcm to Türkiye (including 2.9 bcm via TANAP), and 1.1 billion cubic meters to Georgia.
As of July 1, 2025, 487.1 bcm of gas have been produced from the Shah Deniz field since it was put into operation. About 50.6 million tons of condensate and 250.6 bcm of gas have been extracted from the field.
By June 1, 2025, Azerbaijan had exported around 180.2 bcm of natural gas.
