Azerbaijan, EBRD to sign MoU

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) plan to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on technical support in the development of the electric power sector of Azerbaijan.
Report informs, citing the ministry, that this was announced during the meeting between Deputy Minister Samir Valiyev and the delegation led by Catarina Bjorlin Hansen, regional director of the EBRD for the Caucasus.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the Memorandum of Understanding and reached an agreement on the signing of the document in the near future.
Azerbaijan and the EBRD mulled current cooperation and future prospects towards the development of electric energy, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
