Azerbaijan, EBRD mull future co-op in energy sector

A meeting with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held at the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) under the Ministry of Energy, Report informs referring to the AERA.
The meeting was attended by Samir Akhundov, chairman of the Board of AERA, Kamola Mahmudova, head of the EBRD Resident Office in Azerbaijan, and other representatives of both structures.
Akhundov informed the participants of the meeting about the activities of AERA, as well as about the measures taken in the field of energy regulation in Azerbaijan.
Emphasizing the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and the EBRD, Mahmudova spoke about the prospects for further cooperation in the energy sector.
