Azerbaijan declares imports of about 209M cubic meters of gas from Turkmenistan in January-March

Gas imports to Azerbaijan in January-March 2024 amounted to 245.917 million cubic meters, which is 73.8% lower than in the same period last year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

These are the volumes registered (declared) by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

According to statistical data, the cost of gas imported to Azerbaijan in January-March 2024 amounted to $36.887 million (a decline of 77.1%).

The entire volume of gas imports in the reporting period came from Turkmenistan (growth in quantitative terms by 24.6%, in value terms by 27.3%).
